The latest RTW email newsletter included a news item about Work/Life balance and a presentation by Prof. Linda Duxbury.  The article referred to reports that the survey of 12,000 Australian executives work very hard:

·    “They work approximately 48 hours per week
·    70% do unpaid overtime work after hours
·    They do about 6 hours of overtime per week
·    They spend about 11 hours a week doing childcare and 4 hours involved in eldercare”

I am not a claims officer, but a Rehab Coordinator, and I know which job I would rather have – mine! 

It does not surprise me that I hear that there is a big turn over for claims officers as it must be a pretty thankless job at times, and you have to deal with so many different claims at the one time as well as dealing with the claimant, the employer, the Rehab Coordinator, the medicos etc etc.

Hi Rob and Mary and everyone else at RTW matters,

I was saddened to read your lead article in RTWmatters - what a tragedy.

I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments Rob and hopefully over the coming months people will begin to realise that people matter far more than money and ego.

Hopefully out of this sorry economic mess the value of caring about each other will rise to the top.

Thanks for the new layout of the web site, I particularly like the new Topics page and the easy to find sections e.g. Articles and Research.

It is a vast improvement on the original site and I feel I can now find the evidence I am looking for in the Reseach and other sections. 

Despite these improvements I still have a nagging feeling that I might be missing something.  Would it be possible to put a search function on the site please?
