Days compensation paid is the number of days compensation is paid up to the end of quarter before the interview.

After a spike in 2007-08, the number of days of compensation per injured South Australian worker has trended down. In 2011-12 the average number of days was just under 60, this is 3.2 days longer than the national average of 56.
