Who is afraid of RTW?

Workers have (sometimes valid) fears of re-injury upon return to work. How can employers and health providers create an environment in which it feels safe to return?

This research helps us understand the decisions workers with an injury make regarding return to work. It shows that employers and health providers can influence these decisions by offering good advice and explanations, and addressing workers’ concerns about re-injury.
