Diagnostic tools: How healthy is your culture?

To assess your organisation's culture about injury management and psychosocial factors, consider these warning signs:

Do employees avoid reporting problems or report late?

Do graduated RTW programs progress slowly?

Are claim rates are higher than expected?

Do a significant proportion of staff remain on long-term restricted duties?

Are more than 5% of claims investigated?

Does the organisation consistently face resistance or a lack of response from treating doctors?

Do you have low scores on Psychosocial Safety Climate measures?
