Operational competencies

On the operational side, RTW coordinators deal with individual cases, issues and conversations every day. These operational competencies enable them to do this effectively and also navigate the complexities of the return to work process:

Strong active listening and communication skills.

The ability to create trust and confidence with employees and other stakeholders.

The capacity to influence internal and external stakeholders.

Conflict management skills.

Time management and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in file management and record-keeping.

Providing leadership and direction for the RTW team.
