Stop laughing - this is serious
The face-to-face work of facilitating people back to work isn't funny. It can be satisfying, but dealing with people who don't get well as expected, or at all, can be downright depressing.
Being the meat in the sandwich when this hand wants someone to go back, while another doesn't, and yet a third couldn't care less, requires the patience of Job, the wisdom of Solomon and the straight talking of the Terminator. And yep, we know you sometimes need 3 hands to do this work.
Members have given us positive feedback on the research, tools and resources - and we will continually refine and develop these - but they also say it's great to have a laugh. The lighter side helps.
So we'll look for the laughter just as hard as we do for the good ideas, the new evidence and the beaut tools.
Laughter and knowledge are a good mix. We'll do the laughter, if you do the knowledge. Well, alright, we'll do some of the knowledge...
