Absenteeism (taking time off work) likely reduces overall productivity less than presenteeism (being at work with decreased performance, productivity, and work quality). What's behind presenteeism? Nearly 30,000 British workers completed an online survey in 2017, Britain's Healthiest Workplace (BHW).
