With new psychosocial regulations to manage risks of psychological harm now in effect, join us to learn more about what this means for your workplace.

This 1.5 hour workshop hosted by ReturntoWorkSA's Mentally Healthy Workplace Service, and co-presenter Jason Mavrikis, Education and Engagement Advisor at SafeWork SA will guide participants through the risk management process to effectively identify and manage psychosocial hazards in the workplace.

Psychosocial hazards are aspects of work which have the potential to cause psychological harm, such as high work demands, poor support, lack of role clarity, poor workplace relationships and poorly managed change. To assist workplaces to proactively manage psychosocial hazards and risks, the workshop will discuss approaches to address risks with a range of guidance materials and factsheets that are freely available to workplaces. This includes the Model Code of Practice from Safe Work Australia and the People at Work Tool - an evidence based Australian psychosocial risk assessment tool.

This workshop is suitable for employers, WHS Managers, RTW Coordinators and other Managers who would like to learn more about how to address psychosocial hazards & risks in the workplace as part of a mentally healthy workplace and an effective WHS Program.
