Changes to the Return to Work Act 2014 came into effect on 1 December 2024. These amendments strengthen protections for workers following a work injury and provide greater clarity for employers regarding their obligations around suitable employment.


Join ReturnToWorkSA for a 1-hour workshop summarising the key changes, including:

  • Strengthened suitable employment obligations
  • Inclusion of Labour Hire and Host Employers as defined in the Act
  • Enhanced privacy protections for workers at medical appointments
  • Streamlined access to entitlements for workers with dust diseases or terminal illnesses
A Q&A session will follow, giving participants the opportunity to seek clarity and practical guidance on applying these changes in their workplace.
