About this event

As a business operating within South Australia that employs workers, it is likely you will need to register with ReturnToWorkSA for work injury insurance and pay an insurance premium.  Whilst the recovery and return to work of an injured worker should be an organisations paramount concern following work injury, we appreciate that as employers, you may be equally concerned about the financial impact of injuries on your business.

This online workshop will equip participants with a clear understanding of how premiums are calculated and the factors that may influence changes from year to year.  We will explore the 'deemed worker' provision and the inclusion of sub-contractors, labour hire workers and Directors.

Most importantly, participants will gain practical strategies to reduce their premiums through prompt and effective return to work management.

Facilitated by a ReturnToWorkSA Premium Specialist and Employer Education Advisor, the workshop also provides participants an opportunity to ask questions relevant to their business.

This session is suitable for employers of all sizes, Return to Work Coordinators, and anyone responsible for submitting premium information, payroll or accounts within a workplace.

An email will be sent 24 hours prior to the event with instructions on how to access the online workshop, including the 'join' link.

Last date of registration is Tuesday 28 October 2025
