About this event
In addition to Psychologists, the return to work scheme provides access to a variety of other Mental Health professionals to support workers throughout their work injury recovery.
During this 1.5 hour workshop, ReturnToWorkSA will be joined by a Mental Health Occupational Therapist, an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Counsellor to explore how these various professionals support recovery, including treatment goals, expected outcomes, and strategies to support a sustainable return to work.
Participants will be provided with practical approaches to engage effectively with these mental health professionals and how to initiate conversations with workers about alternative treatment options, highlighting the importance of early intervention.
An Exercise Physiologist will also join to share their perspective on how they work alongside these disciplines and the outcomes they have seen.
A Q&A session will then provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and hear directly from these professionals about how employers and Return to Work Coordinators can effectively engage and support early and improved recovery and return to work outcomes.
You will receive an email 24 hours prior to the event with instructions regarding how to access the online workshop, including the relevant 'join' links.
