About this event

From injury onset to return to work - identify strategies and implement actions to support workers with psychological injury.
In order to effectively manage psychological injuries, we need to have safe workplaces that are equipped to support workers at the first sign of struggle making early intervention paramount to minimising the impact of psychological injury on the individual and the workplace.
The psychological claim journey can at times be complex and long, so as a Return to Work Coordinator and employer, it's important to have an understanding of how psychological claims are managed within the scheme but most importantly, know how to best support workers with psychological injury in their recovery and return to work journey.
This two hour workshop, facilitated by ReturnToWorkSA's Employer Education team and guest Psychologist, will provide participants with an overview of the psychological injury journey – from injury onset and claims process, to psychologist intervention, and how to facilitate sustainable recovery and return to work outcomes.
You will receive an email 24 hours prior to the event with instructions regarding how to access the online workshop, including the relevant 'join' links.
