About this event

The Return to Work Act 2014 sets out clear and enforceable requirements for employers to provide suitable employment wherever it is reasonably practicable to do so.  But what exactly does the legislation require, why does it matter, and how do employers ensure they are meeting their responsibilities?

This 1.5 hour online workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of employer obligations under the Return to Work Act 2014, including:

  • The legal definition of "suitable employment" and what the Act requires
  • When obligations apply - and when they may not
  • The potential implications of non-compliance
  • ReturnToWorkSA's role in regulating suitable employment and monitoring compliance
This session is designed to give employers confidence in understanding and meeting their legislative responsibilities under the scheme.

An email will be sent to all registered participants 24 hours prior to the event with instructions on how to access the workshop, including the Microsoft Teams link.

If you have registered for this workshop and have not received this email, please contact the Employer Education team on 8238 5958 or email coordinators@rtwsa.com

Last date of registration is Tuesday 07 April 2026
