A rise in frivolous or even malicious bullying claims may undermine the plight of true victims.

Several years ago, I worked for a workplace health and safety authority. A young lady called up to make a bullying complaint. “My co-worker is being mean to me,” she explained, “ever since I called her a ‘stupid [unprintable word]’.” This incident may be indicative of a larger trend in bullying claims across the country.
