There is room for improvement in the way we manage physical and psychological claims. Psychological claims tend to be of longer duration than physical claims, and cost more. The number of psychological claims is increasing. However, the overwhelming majority of claims are still physical injury claims.  Both types of claims are important to understand and manage. RTW outcomes are worse for psychological claims than physical claims....
