Profile: Supervisors who support modified duties

Supervisors who show concern and respect for workers, who have the autonomy to make decisions about job modifications, and who rate their organisation highly in terms of disability management are likely to support modified duties.

The Job Accommodation Scale (JAS) is a 21-item questionnaire that was developed and tested in 2014. It measures employer support for temporary job modifications as part of the process of return to work.
