Musculoskeletal problems for hairdressers may be reduced if the risks are understood.

The level of musculoskeletal problems within hairdressers may be able to be reduced if the risks are understood. Researchers from the United Kingdom sought to understand the level of symptoms in hairdressers. 147 hairdressers were interviewed by researchers using specific questionnaires. The results were compared to a control group, i.e. employees who were not hairdressers. Hairdressers had higher rates of musculoskeletal problems....
