Young male workers need to be educated about the work and health consequences of risky drinking.

 Take Home Messages:  More than 40% of the Australian work-force consumes alcohol at dangerous levels at least occasionally. Individual risky alcohol consumption has a wide range of negative impacts for the work place including absenteeism.
