Research short: Interactions between Injured Workers and Insurers in Workers Compensation Systems
The main question addressed by the review was: What are the interactions between injured workers, healthcare providers and insurance personnel in workers compensation systems.
This research focused on the compensation process rather than the outcomes as little attention has been paid to the interactions between stakeholders and clients. Six electronic databases were scanned then searched for relevance, resulting in 18 articles being read in full.
