How does pre-existing workplace social support impact return to work after injury? Do supervisor and co-worker responses to injury have an impact on the duration of work absence?

In a nutshell… Positive responses to injury from supervisors and co-workers probably hinge on pre-existing workplace relationships: if supportive relationships are the norm, responses to injury will likely be supportive too.
